Dancing, rain or shine

Well, here we are on a brand new site for Paperback Films. 2011 has been a fantastic year for us, and to help break in this brand new blog, we wanted to share a new film. Late last summer, we met John and Rhosan. Our first impressions were “this is a couple chalf full of energy”. They both instantly knew what they were after and we were happy to have had the chance to work with them and be a part of their special day together. It was so fun going back and forth with different ideas for their films. Earlier in the spring, we had filmed a Portraiture of them as a couple (check that out here) which gave us a chance to dive further into who they were – outside of their actual wedding event. Rain or shine, these two make the best of any occasion and always have fun.

We didn’t present a Same Day Edit, but instead presented their Portraiture film to all of their guests; all watching together for the first time. It was a perfect introduction to the evening and we had a similar exciting experience as showing a Same Day Edit. Coralee of Red Photo Co was so great to work with (she always is) and it was a treat having Rebecca there as well. Funny story; these girls will do just about anything to get a good shot. There’s a little hint of what I’m referring to in the bts photos :) I look forward to many more adventures at more weddings with those ladies. Thanks to Cody who helped film their wedding with us.
